Facilities available to our Guests

Longdales House Bed and Breakfast in Lincoln benefits from being located on the edge of the Bishop Grosseteste University campus.

Within Longdales House itself there is a comfortable guest lounge with a large screen Freeview television. Adjacent to the guest lounge is a small kitchen equipped with a microwave, a toaster, a kettle and a refrigerator enabling any guest leaving exceptionally early to make themselves an early drink and help themselves to cereal, toast and preserves (by arrangement only). A similar kitchen with wheelchair access is located adjacent to the wheelchair accessible bedroom.

Curiositea

Breakfast is served in Curiositea, our Alice in Wonderland themed Coffee Shop, which is located a short walk across the University campus from Longdales House. Please note: Longdales House breakfast is continental style.

The Bar

The bar is open during the evenings, and guests are welcome to drink there. The bar also offers a fresh take-away or eat-in pizza service.

Sports and Fitness Centre

The campus Sports and Fitness Centre has a well-equipped gym. Guests staying at Longdales House receive free temporary membership for use of the gym (subject to completing a health declaration). Please note that the gym has limited opening times, but is usually 7-00am to 8-30pm on weekdays, and 9-00am to 2-00pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Theatre

The campus also has a Theatre, and a programme of events is on display in Longdales House.

Parking

Free guest parking is available on-site, although this may not be immediately adjacent to Longdales House.
